ABOUT ME
My name is Gio Giganti, and baseball has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing at San Carlos Little League before continuing my journey in travel ball with the San Diego Cowboys, where I developed not only as a player, but as a teammate and competitor.
Â
I later became a four-year varsity starter at Grossmont High School, helping lead the program to two Division I CIF Championships while finishing my high school career with a .331 batting average. Those years taught me the value of hard work, consistency, and competing for something bigger than yourself.
Â
Throughout my baseball journey, I’ve been fortunate to learn from experienced players and coaches, including former Texas Rangers All-Star Hank Blalock for hitting instruction, along with Jordan and Jared Abruzzo for catching development. Being around high-level athletes gave me a deeper understanding of the game and helped shape the way I work with players today.
Â
My goal as a coach is simple — help athletes improve their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the process of getting better. I focus on creating a positive, energetic environment where players can develop strong fundamentals, grow mentally and physically, and learn how to compete with confidence both on and off the field.
